[EVENT] October Mods Vs Players (SGMY)

Gather ’round, as the haunted beats of Halloween echo through the dance floor! This October, we’re summoning the bravest souls for a night of rhythm and chills in our Mods VS Players event.

MECHANICS

Date & Time: 13 October 2024 (Sunday), 8:00pm to 9:00pm (GMT+8)
Eligibility: SGMY Players (All Levels)
Channel: Jukebox, OPM
Game Mode: Sports Dance (with Change OFF setting)
Song: Random
Chance: Off
Insane: Off
Map: The Floor

Mechanics:
1. Facilitator (CM or Mods) will announce the event in-game and create a password-locked room. Room will be opened upon announcement of CM OR at random timings at the Mods’ discretion.
2. Two player slots will be left open for players to come in.
3. The players will then be given 3 minutes to bring in a friend of the opposite gender to participate with them. If players do not have anyone applicable to invite, the player slots will be opened for any participant to join.
4. Players do not need to be a couple to participate.
5. Each player may only participate once, regardless of win or loss.
6. The winners of each round will be the Ballroom Queen & King (i.e. the female and male pair with the most ‘hearts’ collected in the round)
7. Players caught cheating or behaving inappropriately, will be penalised as the facilitator deems fit.
8. Disconnections, regardless of reason, will lead to disqualification.
9. Event ends when all winning sets have been given out.
10. Rules are subjected to change without prior notice.
11. By participating in the event, the player agrees with the rules set forth.

**Should there be disputes, decisions from the CMs or Mods will be final.

7. This means that there may be 0-2 non-Moderator winners per round.
a) 0 winners: If both Mods get the highest ‘hearts’.
b) 1 winner: If one Mod gets the highest ‘hearts’. This will constitute as one of the five winning sets.
c) 2 winners: If no Mod gets the highest ‘hearts’. This will constitute as one of the five winning sets.
8. Event ends when all five winning sets have been given out. This means there can be anywhere between 5-10 winners, with 5 rounds of 1 OR 2 winners.
9. Players caught cheating or behaving inappropriately, will be penalised as the facilitator deems fit.
