The Audition Philippine Tournament aims to showcase the various skills of the Audistas. This tournament is a Team Battle to show which group reigns supreme in all modes of Audition.

Playpark All-Stars 2019 General Rules

  • To take part in the action, make sure to read and understand the General Rules of the overall tournament – Playpark All-Stars 2019. Read the General Rules.
  • By registering, participants are confirming that they have read and understood all the rules and guidelines and consent to any and all conditions.
  • Announcements may be changed by the administration. Any change will be posted on official channels only.

Final 8 Mechanics

Team Category

Elimination
In the Elimination match of APC 2019, all champions from the different qualifier will have to face off in a dance battle.

The first team to win two (2) rounds will proceed to the Semi-Finals. The game mode will be used for the elimination round as follows:

  • Normal – Team Mode
  • Choreography – c – 8 direction (Crazy 8 Keys)
  • Random Songs (Audition Artist Songs)
  • Bomb Chance, level 6.

Semi-Finals

In the Semi-Finals, where only the top four (4) TEAMs remain, The first team to win two (2) rounds will proceed to the Finals. The mode to be used for the Semi-Finals is as follows:

  • Normal – Team Mode
  • Choreography Battle – c – 4direction
  • Random Songs (Audition Artist Songs)
  • Reverse Chance; Chance Level 3

Finals

In the FINALS match*, the first team to win three (3) rounds will be the APC2019 FINAL 4 Champions. The mode to be used for the Semi-Finals is as follows:

  • Normal – Team Mode
  • Choreography – c – 8 direction (Crazy 8 Keys)
  • Random Songs (Audition Artist Songs)
  • Reverse Chance, level 6.

 

Individual Category

In the Eliminations/Semi-Finals, each of the players will face off in a single elimination battle. The mode to be used for the eliminations is as follows:

  • Normal – Single Room
  • Choreography – c – 4direction
  • Random Songs (Audition Artist Songs)
  • Bomb Chance; Level 6
  • Top 2 Players will be advancing to the finals

 

Finals

In the FINALS match, the 4 finalists will face off in Three (3) rounds. The player with the highest total score after the 3 matches will be the winner. The mode to be used for the Finals is as follows:

  • Normal – Single Room
  • Choreography – c – 8 direction (Crazy 8 Keys)
  • Random Songs (Audition Artist Songs)
  • Reverse Chance, level 6

GENERAL RULES

Players Responsibilities and Guidelines:

  • Teams must designate a Team Captain who will handle all decisions for the team. Officials will consider decisions made by the team captain as final for the entire team.
  • Setup period before the actual match is 5 minutes ONLY.
  • Players who fail to take advantage of the 5 minute setup time must begin playing with whatever configuration and character setup they are left with. No time extension for the setup will be given.
  • The substitute must be within Metro Manila area or within the team’s area.
  • For example, in the case of health reasons, the player must provide an official medical certificate and other documents that will support their claim.
  • When players are called for their match and they are not present, they have five minutes grace period before they are disqualified.
  • GM will create the room, room name, game mode and songs to be played for the Tournament and. Participants must follow the Tournament Official’s instructions on the on-ground.
  • Technical issues encountered during the event will be assessed by the Officials. Only major technical problems will merit game suspension and/or restart at the discretion of the officials.

    • Game Server Issues
  • Participants are not allowed to abandon their terminals without the official’s approval will be disqualified and not eligible to claim any prizes from the tournament.
  • Players who argue with or fail to follow the instructions of the Tournament officials, head judge or any other tournament officials are subject to the appropriate penalties as dictated by the severity of the case.
  • Players are expected to behave in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times.
  • Players caught cheating or behaving inappropriately will be penalized as the judges deem fit.
  • Intentional disconnection (ALT F4/Manual DC) will lead to the disqualification of the team.
  • Participants must follow the rules interpretations and guidelines set forth by the tournament officials.
  • The decision of the tournament officials IS FINAL.

Disqualification Rules:

  • If two (2) or more members fail to arrive at the venue for their scheduled match, the present complete team will be declared as the automatic winner.
  • Intentional disconnection (ALT F4/Manual DC) will lead to the disqualification of the team.
  • Using Third Party Programs or editing any Audition Next Level files to gain advantages on the match will also lead to the disqualification of the team.
  • Players are not allowed to turn off the chance during the tournament. they should activate it from the start of the song.
  • Team member(s) who will be caught using Third Party Programs or editing any Audition Next Level will lead to disqualification of the whole Team before the Championship Match and cannot join again to any Audition Next Level online and on-ground tournaments.
  • Playpark Inc. has the right to hold and not to give all prizes of disqualified teams/individuals.
  • PlayPark Inc. and/or officials of the Playpark All-Stars 2019 officials shall reserve the right to suspend, ban, and/or punish a player or clan without prior notice for any violation as they deem necessary.

FOULS:

  • Zoning Foul – This is defined as moving your character in an unauthorized area or refusing to follow move orders issued by the GM in-game. (-500,000 Points to the Final Score)
  • Technical Foul – This is defined as engaging in any behavior that is unsportsmanlike and includes excessive profanity or violence against property or individuals including the marshals. (-500,000 Points to the Final Score)
  • Playpark Inc. has the right to hold and not to give all prizes of disqualified teams.
  • PlayPark Inc. and/or officials of the Playpark All-Stars 2019 officials shall reserve the right to suspend, ban, and/or punish a player or clan without prior notice for any violation as they deem necessary.

Substitution Rules:

  • Substitutions are not allowed except at the Audition Philippine Championship Finals and only if the team provides a valid reason and other requirements to support their claim. The provided reason and documents are still subject to the tournament administration’s approval.
  • The substitute player must be recommended by the Team Captain. Team Captain will send a personal message via email to tournament administration for approval.
  • Team Captain must send the following:
    • Recommendation Letter
    • Personal details of the substitute player
      • Full Name
      • Address
      • Contact Number
      • Age
      • Date of Birth
      • Scanned Valid ID

Elimination Rules:

  • It is the responsibility of the team to assure/check their internet connection’s performance. Any disconnections due to connection failure/lag or latency will not re-start the match.
  • During eliminations (Audition Philippine Championship 2019), all members of a team are required to play in one internet shop or venue as mutually agreed upon with Playpark Inc.

 

Global Competition Requirements:

  • For Global Competition Finalists, all members are required to submit the following within the date specified by the tournament committee:
    • Copy of Valid I.D. with visible age (or birth date), picture, and signature
    • Copy of Passport
    • Playpark Inc.’s Waiver and Release of Liability Form (original copy)
    • Playpark Inc.’s Parental Consent Form (original copy) for players 20 years old and below.
    • Teams can use one bank account, as long as they all agreed to and submit a signed Team Bank Waiver Form Agreement (original copy) to the tournament officials.
    • The team captain or a duly authorized representative must attend the designated player’s briefing for the Global Competition
    • Playpark Inc. has the right to disqualify and replace the team that failed to submit any or all of the Tournament requirements.
