ANL Story
- It was year 2011, Domination V. “Ano ba to, ang laki ng krus sa leeg, naka leather jacket pa ang init init” Her first thoughts.
- I was randomly scrolling down on my Social Media feed and I stumbled upon this certain photo. It piqued my Interest, I knew I have to know her more. “Ang ganda neto ah kaso bat puro pictures lang nya at walang tagged photos kasama Audista, Ah poser to“
- Would you believe that we would end up being together?
- Summer 2018, Audition Next Level. Way past midnight. Bored to death. I saw this room entitled “AFK.Tumatae.LF>FC” It was unique as a room title so I went in. Her name was somewhat familiar. Alt+Tab, Facebook.com, Enter. Bingo. It was her. “Crush ko to, kaso poser to eh” But still, I left her a message ” Ako nalang po ” (referring to Looking for Friendly Couple). I didn’t get a reply. Long story short, we still got to know each other. “Ikaw yung cosplayer na may krus sa dibdib diba?
” I smiled because that was way way back and she still remembers. After this, we started to play with each other more often. - One night, I was at Gamers Grid, someone poked me while I was playing. When I looked who it was, I was stunned. It was her, Wia, The girl that I thought was a poser. Her skin was so light, it was shining. Her long hair with curls at the end, like the Goddess of Love herself. Her mesmerizing eyes and that long alluring eyelashes. It was her. She Immediately got me.
- June, I just got back from New Zealand. Luckily there’s this event that she was going to attend. It was the perfect moment to surprise her with my pasalubong. In return, she gave me a smile that would melt the chocolates that I gave her. The next day, I knew that this was the perfect moment to as her to be my couple. I was turned down a thousand times, But maybe, Just maybe, Today is gonna be different. If she says no, this would be the last straw. Maybe she’s not really interested. and guess what? she said “kape” which in her vocabulary means No.I was forced to wake up to reality. My dreams were shattered before my eyes. I decided to move forward and accept the fact that I had no chance. Weeks passed, someone asked me to be her couple. With a heavy heart, I said Yes.
- Wia finally went online after so long. She sent me a direct message. “Wow may ring na, di ka marunong mag hintay” and immediately went offline. I was confused. She was obviously disappointed. But I don’t know why. Moments passed, my ring got splitted due to some circumstances. Funny right?
- September, I got invited to Rii’s Birthday celebration. I had doubts attending because i’m not really close to the other people who were invited, due to me being inactive in the game at that time. But still I decided to go because at the back of my mind, I think I knew. As the party went on, I fell sick. Memories were foggy but when I opened my eyes, I was surprised. I was resting on Rii’s shoulders. My friends told me that Rii was taking care of me the whole night. I’ve never felt that feeling before. The feeling that someone was willing to take care of me. It was when i got home when I remembered it all. A few days passed and I decided to do a little surprise.
- September 13, It was 7 in the morning when someone was calling me on Messenger. And it was Wia. ”Hoy mag online ka ngayon na” I was still half asleep, good thing I left my character AFK on my laptop. She invited me to her room, just the two of us. After the song, I was shocked. She sent me a couple proposal. We were finally a couple. All those months of pursuing her finally paid off. After 2 days, our characters got married. That’s when we started formally dating, Going out almost everyday. Before I came into her life, She was all alone, School-Dorm was her daily routine. So I decided to show her the great things Manila and Quezon City has to offer.
- February 2 2019. We went to Sofitel’s Spiral Buffet, Asia’s “best” buffet spot as they say. This was a gift to her for having the best Thesis in Pharmacy Department. I was so proud of her. Dinner went on and as we were on the pool side, she whispered. “Tayo na.” Finally all those efforts paid off. I almost wanted to scream because I was so happy. Me? and my Dream girl were finally together. This is to say that Dreams really do come true. We both still talk about that very first time we saw each other and how we knew, 8 years ago, that something clicked, something connected between us. If anything deems to be called love at first sight, it would be this. We still haven’t had a serious fight and are still as in love, if not more, than when we met on that beautiful day.
